James Pitt is a Partner of Lexington Partners. He is based in London and is responsible for the firm’s international direct investments. He has worked in the private equity sector since 2000, prior to which he was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in London and New York, and a strategy consultant at Arthur D. Little. He started his career as a warfare and ship’s diving officer in the Royal Navy.
James holds an MBA from INSEAD in France and a BSc. (Hons.) in Systems Management (Operations Research) from City University, London. He is a Trustee of the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity.
