Konstantin Sajonia-Coburgo has over 25 years of experience in investment banking, focusing in M&A and Equity Capital Markets. He started his career in 1990 with Lehman Brothers, London. He then worked in Santander Investment in Madrid until 2000, when he joined Rothschild, where he was made co-head of Spain in 2007. In 2010, he joined Barclays as co-head of Investment Banking in Spain. He was also made Head of the Financial Institutions Group in Southern Europe and the Middle East between 2013 and 2016. Subsequently, he was appointed Spain’s Country Manager until January 2018, when he left the bank. Konstantin is currently Senior Advisor of FTI Consulting in Spain, as well as member of the Advisory Board of Aon for Spain and Portugal, member of the Auditing Committee of Corporación Empresarial Pascual and member of the Board of Banque Eric Sturdza (Geneva).
