The investment advisory firm’s roots date back to 1985, when it was operating as a venture capital firm under the name of Four Seasons Venture. Verdane Capital was spun out and founded in its current form in 2003, by Managing Partner Bjarne Lie. Six funds, as well as a number of co-investment vehicles, have brought total committed capital across Verdane funds to €900m. Verdane Capital IX, a SEK 3bn fund established in 2016, is currently making new investments.
